working out at the gym

Since I sign up with SparkPeople.com to help lose weight and get a better handle, on learning to eat right and to get my sugar and blood pressure down I have felt much better. It's been a month now and have been able to keep my diabetes under control with out my meds, and been motivated to go to the gym and work out. Back in march I had head surgery done, which left my right side weak. After being in rehab, and with very dedicated people to help me, I am back to work sooner then the doctors would think, I would be back. I do therapy still and go to the gym and workout which is making me stronger. I have my goals to prove to my rehab doctor, that I can do things like before sooner then he predicted. I know I will get there, it just takes hard word, and the drive to strive.

  1. You'll get there. You've come so far already it's awesome. I'm so proud of how well you're doing on the diet and keeping your blood sugar under control without the meds!
